Intermittent Seat Heating/Cooling
My 2011 LS Drivers Seat Heating/Cooling is intermittent. The rotary selector switch lights a solid green when selected.
When you turn it to "on" (either heat or cool), you can hear a relay "click", followed by another "click" about a second later. The Passenger side does NOT do this. It sounds like a relay is energizing, and then subsequently de-energizing.
What would cause this?
It sounds like either a faulty relay coil.....or some sort of protection device opening the energized coil. Perhaps even a thermostatic device of some sort?????
Ideas?

It's not THAT simple of a system. Probably something to do with driver occupancy detection. Also, seat heater/cooler will NOT heat/cool constantly, but will just provide 'support' for main HVAC system (so your seats cooling/heating is also dependent on main hvac settings/mode).
