Paint Engine Cover

Paint Engine Cover
I want to color match my engine cover to my car but not sure which route to go. Those of you that have painted the engine cover, did you use a high temp paint that's close in color to your car's color or did you use an exact match paint?

Yeah, this sort of falls under the "if it ain't broke don't fix it." Idea. I can see why a 1955 Chevy might need the valve covers painted, but isn't the cover on the ls460 just good quality plastic?
Just curious, why do you want to spend the money painting the motor cover?

Bodyshops are designed for this sort of thing...even better if you paint a mural paying homage to the the town the car was assembled in. Maybe even tag it with this: レクサス
