Okay guy’s this is how I get the blue light. I installed these LED strip from the picture below. I bought the blue LED strip from Ebay, disconnect the puddle lights and ran the connection to the led lights. I also did the same thing on the back of the seats. with lights off with lights on
Thanks, but I am still confused about exactly how you hooked them up. I am sure many here would be interested to see a detailed write-up of this mod.
when you say you disconnected puddle lights tou mean the ones on the side view mirrors? or just the little ones under the feet in the front and rear of the cabin? If you mean exterior couldn't I just disconnect the interior ones and wire them? Thanks again for the information
Yes the little puddle light where your feet go in the cabin under the dash. No not the one in the side view mirrors. Okay if you go in the passenger side where your feet goes, look under the dash there will be a panel with about four clips press those clips the panel will come out. You can either disconnect the puddle light to get it completely out or you can leave it connected. Since I don’t need the puddle light so I disconnect it and insert my wire into the female connector and tape it out will good so it doesn’t shorted out.
