Default Brake Job Completed

The brake job was completed on my 2010 LS 460L Non-air, RWD today. The new front and rear Centric Premium E-Coated Plain Surface Rotors along with Akebono Pro-Act Disc Pads all the way around were installed without a hitch and feel great. I had 57,911 miles on the LS and the front pads were almost but not quite to the sensors so it was a great time to do the brake job. I would like to thank everyone for the excellent advise on both the Centric Premium Rotors and the Akebono Pro-Act Pads.

As a side note: While the service history for my LS is on Lexus Drivers, the page that allows us to post service done at other than Lexus Dealerships is not up and running. Every time I tried to post the service done today it would give me an error message. Called Lexus and they said that they were aware of the issue and were working on it. Part of the new web page issues.

Thanks for the update on Lexus Driver. I was planning to enter some service info.

Glad to hear the new brakes are great. Did you change them yourself or at an indy shop? If the latter, how much did they charge for labor and how long did it take?

AC

I had them changed at a Tim's Auto Repair shop in Bentonville, AR. Tim's charged me $100 per axle so out the door for $226 including tax and brake pad grease. The invoice shows 1.13 hrs per axle. Shane had told me a $100 per axle going in. These guys have done work on my 1990 Ford Bronco II so I knew their work although this is the first time someone other than a Lexus Dealer has worked on the car.
