Default Best Source for brembo rotor replacements?

what's everyone using to replace the stock brembo rotors (other than Lexus OEM) ?

I am going to swap out my dusty *** front pads for the PowerStops, but I'm hesitant to throw them on my stock (10K mile) rotors....

Thoughts?

As long as your current rotors don't pulsate when braking, just swap out the pads and you're golden. I had 48,000 miles on the stock rotors when I put the Power Stops on, and at 59k they still don't pulsate and there is no dust.

How's the brake feel of the Power Stops vs OEM pads? I'm about done with the squealing and ridiculous amount of dust. I've owned five BMW's which make a lot of dust and it was nothing compared to the brakes on my LS sport.

I just did front pads and rotors on an in stock LS F-Sport... If memory serves the pads cost a freaking FORTUNE but the rotors were like $75 each.

The Power stops have excellent feel and initial "bite", the same as the OEM dust machines.

That's encouraging...I placed my order with Rock Auto this morning.

I'd like to buy all new shim kit rather than re-use the ones on my 10K mile old factory pads.

Anyone got a part# for the brembo shim kit?

My Power Stop pads came with shims already in place.

Interesting.....I actually called Power Stop yesterday to confirm the part #s. They told me there wasn't a bundle available for the LS460 Sport that included pads and hardware.

While I have re-used the shim kit many times on my '97 LS, I wanted to start fresh with these brembos since as we all know they're prone to squealing (mine currently are silent).

I was going to swing by my local dealer and pick up a fresh h/w kit, but now I'll wait to see what arrives from Rock Auto.

Thanks!
