Default My next car.....

Just had a look at the new Hyundai G90 on a TV program and online. The TV show raved about it. The images are stunning. The interior is RIDICULOUS. Every imaginable option and more. 420HP V8. Nappa Leather, etc
WOW. Check out the interior: http://www.thecarconnection.com/over...nesis_g90_2017

The G90 definitely got class and worth a test drive. I saw pictures of the new Cadillac XT6 and I was impressed but after checking it out at the dealership, I wasn't impressed and the quality isn't to par in my opinion.

Couple shots from the NYC auto show of a concept Genesis.

Not bad for a Hyundai but this won't be in the same class as an LS.

A8ish front end and an S Classish rear.. It's hard to deny the curb appeal, but something about the derivative design cues kind of irk me. Will it be available in AWD? Overall, I'd still give it a test drive and consider it if I came upon a smoking CPO deal..

The LS Has a LONG history of derivative design. Don't count them out.

Yes indeed Early critics of the LS400 and 430 - as lovely as their designs are - certainly made similar remarks about a lack of originality. IMHO, the 4th gen LS came into its own, especially with the new grille (for better or worse). And like I said earlier, I would consider the G90, only as a CPO, but that's just me.

This car is likely to be $20,000 cheaper than an LS new...that's a lot of coin and now that it doesn't wear a Hyundai badge...I would seriously consider one.

Absolutely. Can't deny that it's a serious chunk of change. I'm also surprised (and a little disappointed) that Cadillac still doesn't want to commit to a true sedan flagship. Hyundai gets it, but the CT6, while a sharp car, isn't quite there. Sorry if that observation strays too far from the topic at hand..

I am open to it. The Equus was almost there, hopefully this gets it even closer. One thing that is great for us is that the better the Hyundai gets the better the LS will have to be in the future.

Looks nice. The coupe looks nice too, I like that interior better.

In any case, I have memories of my friend's Hyundai burning oil and constantly breaking down. This was from the 90s, of course, but that is what I associate with that brand. Hopefully they've improved things in that department.

The G90 is definitely a looker. I wish Hyundai jumped onto the LED headlight train (purely for aesthetic reasons lol). But seriously it's a car worthy of being in the top class IMO.

My 2014 EQUUS has 136,000 miles, and has been great.
My 2015 EQUUS had 67,000 miles, but was totalled a few weeks ago. A rock dislodged from a hillside (it was raining) and rolled in front of car. Damaged the frame, floors, exhaust system.
Here it is https://www.iaai.com/Vehicles/Vehicl...oadRecent=True

I'll be getting a G90 as soon as it's available.

I checked out the CT6 yesterday. It wasn't worth the wait. Very disappointing @ $67,000. I'd be a CT6 buyer at $40K
