I know hitting 60,000 miles isn't a big deal for our cars. But to me it's huge. I generally put roughly 200 miles a month on a car. Working from home, the car doesn't get tons of usage. Well, that's the previous cars I've owned. My last Lexus, the 05 LS430 that I traded in a year and a half ago had roughly 75000 miles. I got it with 34000 miles and kept it 6 years. The 94 LS400 had 134000 when I sold it.
To put almost 8000 miles on a car in a year and a half speaks volumes. I love the car so much I can't wait to get in and drive. When the car was about to turn 60K, I just couldn't bring myself to snap the photo. So, I did the next best thing.
It's crazy to care that much about a car. Oh well, why not.
Wow what a contrast! I usually sell my cars well before they hit the 60k mark and right around 50k. I sold my last Lex with 57k on the clock, too bad it took 12 years to hit that mark.
I'm still a baby in mileage compared to you guys but I've hit 60k before in other cars and I felt kind sad like I don't want it no more but then I think of how it didn't give me any problems and it's taken me this far so then I learned to appreciate how reliable it really was and enjoy it again.
