For the individuals running 22's what tire sizes are you running and does it scrub without modifying the fenders? I really what to see what series tires people are running and how they look. I want a little more meat than the 25 series that the rim shops recommend. Post pics please.

Here's my 2 cents.

I have 08 L model with favtory air and lowering module. I had slits cut along the arch and rolled the rear fenders. I went with 25 series tires. I feel that I have room to go bigger. However, I then become taller than factory higher which would cause my odometer to be off. Maybe others can address this.

I also feel this is the right place to post this question. The other thread shares what others went with but don't address what the reality of going bigger than 25 series in the back are. If it's there, I missed it.

I might consider it when I need new rubber in the back.

 

More than tire size has to be consider when asking if it'll fit. You have to look into wheels width and offset more so than tire.

Keep overall outside diameter to within 3% to stock.

 

And coincidentally that's the maximum change Costco will allow you make on any vehicle.

 

255/30/22 & 295/25/22 pirelli is what I am running.

 

245/30/22 front and 295/25/22 rears

 

I have 255/30/22 offset 20 wheel is 9.5" wide and 295/25/22 offset 355 wheel is 10.5" wide.

But I think I can fit taller tire. Might make the ride better as well. I just put my wheels on, so I have time to figure it all out if I'd stay the same or change it up.

 

I am running a 245/30/22 on my 9.5 wheels. I'm thinking of going to 255/30 for fronts and 295/25 for rears to get a bit more coverage on the wheel.

 

My Costco won't even sell the tires where the larger diameter rims are on the cars already because it isn't the factory rims sizes and yes the over all diameter is within 3%... Las Vegas, NV Costco.
