Default Soft close door.

Question. Only my passenger side doors will soft close. Neither driver side work. Is there something I need to check?

2007 ls460l.

Thanks.

I am sure there is a fuse or fuses for it, I'd check there first.

I checked all the fuses that say has to do with her doors. 4 fuses all in passenger side block. All are good.

I am going to have to guess its the mechanism in both doors that have failed. No big deal just thought there was a bypass to disable the doors.

Thanks

I would check with the dealership. I'm sure they can find the issue rather quickly.

My passenger side rear sometimes closes and sometimes doesn't. It could be the module itself that may need to be replaced. But like the others said, check the fuses.

Sometimes it's the other fuses that cause as 2 doors to fail at the same time is hard to believe. Check all the fuses with a test light as there might be a small crack not seen by the eye but will test bad.

Anyone know for sure what fuses are for the doors? The manual only directs me to the passenger side fuse block. Has four fuses 2 10 and 2 25 fuses.

Thanks.

Okay, I have found another possible fuse to check. Its in Fuse box A under the hood. But for the life of me I cannot figure out how to open the fuse cover.

I opened the lid and they have Fuse type C and D I think but I cannot find a way to open that see thru cover.

I have searched but not luck. Another thing the fuse list in the book and fuse box cover don't seem to match what I see.

Anyone ever open this cover before??

Check all fuses. Some are in relation to others. It's weird with these cars.

If you're not sure, take it to a place like Pep Boys or Autozone. They usually have the fuse and know where they go.

You may need to check with the dealership seems like it may be more than a fuse.

That's probably what I will do. Soon as I get time to go to dealership. That fuse box under the hood is a puzzle.

There is a service bulletin SB-0037-10 that has to do with replacing the weather stripping.

Go figure.
