Default 2 Questions

Have a couple questions. Owned my LS now for a couple weeks and have really enjoyed it.
What a well built vehicle.

but the 2 questions:
1. is there a way to stop the first screen from appearing that i must agree to?
2. how can i upgrade the navigation to more recent data of streets? On my 05 Escalade, i was able to purchase a new CD that updated the streets.

You must have an 07-09 right ? I had a 03 that I had to agree to. But I currently have a 2011 that I don't push anything. I can't help on the first one, but my guess is you don't have an option. On the second one, you need to go to lexus dealership and they can upgrade your had drive. There is no disc. Price Varies between $100-200. If you got there for any other service, talk with them and try to work out a deal on this. Might save you a few bucks.

Agree to screen will disappear automatically after few secs if you update the nav database. Dealer can do for $300-$400. There is no CD, it is SW download to the NAV hard drive.

I believe there is also a module that you can attach to remove that screen...

I have the 08 and my warning appears and disappears on it's own. My car had the 2011 nav version. I'm guessing that's what was different. For sure see the dealer.
