You broght up Long Term Quality Indexs as a support for 2013, didn't you?
Their data base stops at 2010 and it lumps 3 generations into one. I am just pointing out that their database is good for entertainment perposes only.

According to their database LS has best reliability score BUT they lump data from 1995 - 2010 and report average. Drill down to LS by year and you will see that 2008 has more issues than 1998, 2000, 2003, 2005, 2006, 2007.
And 2009 has more issues than any other LS from 1998-2008.

CR data also does not compare from year to year, only compared to that model year. See my discussion of that in the other thread.

It is very informative post, thank you for clarification.
Knowing CR's limitations their data is still useful, LTQI data is misleading. I think LS is the best car that is why I drive one. Looking forward to 2017.
