Default Need to find instructions....

.... for the Prestigious Society nav bypass. I have one, installed back in the day, now I need to remove it and I don't have the install step by step instructions anymore. Can anyone point me in the right direction / thread that would have it? I did several searches here but didn't find it. Thanks in advance!

I could not force myself in a million years to attempt something like that on my LS. Lots of respect for folks who jump in with both feet, just not for me. Great DIY posting

RF,
I don't know why, but I initially found myself surprised at the fact that you did this yourself.
I knew you had the PS product, but thought someone else installed it for you...
Actually, as I typed that, the "installed it for you" part, it didn't even feel right typing that out...
Shame on me!
Im terribly late regarding this DIY, but once again and of course-great job!

This is great, thanks for the link to the thread. I did install mine on my own back in the day and it wasn't difficult at all, the great quality of the fit/finish on this car helps. With care and patience it is actually less complicated than it looks.

Ok, so if anyone is interested in my nav/video override unit, I removed it today, it was easier than I thought. Send me a PM, sems like a new one costs around $300, make me a decent offer. Thanks and I hope I'm not breaking any forum rules with this post.

No troubles at all, car has been perfect. I've owned it for 9 years now, since brand new, have enjoyed every single minute in it, but I feel it's time to move on, I want to get something a little more 'engaging' as a second car, now that I use my truck as daily driver. If and when the LS is completely redesigned, I might get one but it will be contingent on what features and power trains will be available. I'm a big fan of V8s and V12s and I'll not buy another LS with a V6 in it, no matter how good it is. Meanwhile, I'll get some 'fun' car

I agree with you on the LS and rumors of a change in the powerplant. I'm all about V8 power. I'd even choose an Equus with a V8 over a V6 driven LS if it came to it. Let us know what you decide on

LOL I don't know if it is a mid life crisis, but I did own a muscle car before I purchased the LS460. So I guess I go through phases... - the interior of those new challengers are much better nowadays. Not to mention the nav/entertainment is superior to many others in the market today. My daily driver is a RAM Limited, it has the excellent nav/multi function uConnect system.
