Default How to disable driver's seat auto away function

I'm taking a long road trip with my '10 LS. I'd like to pack items on the floor behind the driver's seat but am certain that the "auto away" function that moves the seat all the way back when you turn off the car will crush my items. I checked my manual and my Carista app but nothing about disabling this feature.
Anyone know how to do this?

Hmm...I'm wondering how to turn it on in my 09....or did the 09 not have this feature? Not trying to hijack your thread, I'm sure I'll get my answer when you get yours.

for 10+ it is a setting on the navigation. Make sure that the car is on running mode without the engine running and look under vehicle setting.

Not sure about your model year. But for my 2013, it's in Setting of the Nav system. I can adjust it fully retract, half way or none. Your should be the same.

For the 2015 RC-F the owners manual specifically states this can only be changed by the dealer with the Lexus ODBII tech tool.

not sure if any of the other models have this restriction or not.

It looks like the answer is that there is no auto away function for the 07-09 models as that feature was introduced to the LS460 in 2010.
