Default DIY seat ventilation mod

My seat ventilation is working, but it's not what i expected.
At first i was thinking about changing the fan but that was too much work.
I found a simple solution to make my butt cooler

Take 1 or 2 pieces of thin plastic. About 11x11cm (4x4 inches) I used 0.5mm PVC.
Bend them using a hot air gun like in the pictures. And stick some double sided tape to them.

Next, put the seat in the most forward position for easy access. And clean the vents.
Stick the two pieces of plastic on the vents.

Dont forget to turn on the seatventilation and set your AC to cool the feet, not on "auto"

You don't get more airflow, but at least the air is much cooler.
You can also use flat tubes and direct the air straight up under the seat. Or use only one vent so the rear passengers still have some cold air.

This is a pretty cool idea!
Great ingenuity my friend!
Im wondering though, what are the benefits? How effective has it worked for you?
I ask because beneath the seat there's really no space for the revented air to go but underneath the seats, and the front portion of the seat it "blocked off"/covered.
Still like that idea though!

Well, dont expect wonders, but the seat gets cooler. You will notice it.
In my GS 450h the ventilation worked much better, probably by design.
Just try it, it costs almost nothing and is only 30 minutes work.
