When we get into our car, the Bluetooth pops up like it's dialing a call, but the phone isn't dialing. I have to hit the call disconnect button on the steering wheel to stop it,
I was wondering if anyone has had this problem and if so, can you Please tell me what fixed it?
I suspect that your car is connecting to another phone that is in use in your house. You should clear all of the Bluetooth registrations from your car, then register the phone that you carry. The car always connects to the last phone that was connectedi if it is in range. If what I suggested resolves your issue then you can adjust you registrations to work for your situation.

Thanks for the help!
I'll clear everything and re-register our phones.
It's happened to my wife when I wasn't in the car and also when we were both in it. Re-registering is a good idea though, that I'll try.

Thanks for your ideas too!
It happens sporadically and not every time we get in the car.
As far as the text window, I'll have to pay more attention because I just got my first smart phone and I don't text much, so it's new to me. I know it's not on a text window on the phone, but I don't know if we can or can't text through the nav unit (like I said, all of this text stuff is new to me).
