Default Blisters on Steering wheel

I Have blisters in the clear coat of the steering wheel. Two have opened and the clear coat has started peeling off. Any solutions out there, please?
Thanx.

Can you post some pictures?

Its likely UV damage (I see you're in GA), its going to require steering wheel replacement or refinishing.

It's a pretty heavy coat of polyurethane, I suppose you could refinish it or have someone do it that's good with furniture refinishing. And I have seen LS460 steering wheels on ebay for reasonable prices, as well.

I've seen some lace on leather covers available on Ebay. I think that an auto upholstery
shop could do a pro install for you.

I am afraid that you are correct. Since the steering wheel list price is in excess of $3,000, Replacing it is probably not an option. Thanx anyway.

I hadn't thought about a furniture refinisher. I know one that could do it.
Thanx

Unfortunately, it is no longer in warranty (104,000 miles)
Thanx
