Default winter tires

Had 2002 SC 430 with winter tires 245 40 18 I sold it and now have 2013 LS460 AWD F sport with
245 45 19 All Season. Can I use the mounted 245 40 18 from old SC 430 on the LS ?

Can you? Yes. Should you? Not really.

The stock tire is a 235 50 18 which measures a 27.25 inch height.

The 245 40 18 is 25.72 inches high.

That will result in a speedometer that is 4 mph off and further, it is never reccommended to exceed a 3% difference in tire size and with this setup, you'll be 5.8% off...or almost double.

That said, would I do it? Yep. Cuz I'm a cheap SOB. PLUS, it's just for a few months of winter.

It's AWD, I'd just take my chances with the all season tires. If the tread is good...how bad could it be? We only have a month of snow left anyway.
