This question has probably been talked about to death but I can't find old treads on this topic. I would like to know what are the differences between the 2009 model navigation verses 2010 navigation. pros, cons, advantages and disadvantages. If any one can pull up an old post on this that would also be greatly appreciated

I'm not sure, but my friend has a 2012 and when he gets on the x-way he gets a split screen showing points of interest and restaurants. My 08 does not do that.

 

Am in the wrong forum to ask this question or is there difference in the 09 nav to 10?

 

07 to 09 share same nav essentially. The 10 to 12 have a slightly different Nav setup with some more features. Plus you can control personal preferences from the 10 to 12 nav unlike the 07 to 09 model year. As far as a breakdown of features difference I don't know off hand but I do know there are some enhancements with 10 to 12 model

 

Are you asking about the LS? If yes then you are in the correct model forum.

To add to the list as far as differences, I think it also switched form Lexus Link to Enform.

Correct me if I am wrong but didn't the 2010+ systems offer app compatibility with the nav like Pandora or is that 13+?

 

That would be 13+ for the LS. 2007-2009 Gen 4, 2010-2012 Gen 5 & 13+ Gen 6 NAV system.
