Ok, the green and yellow wires were on mine as well, just a little more hidden. The other color wires were different so that was throwing me off. I finished the install!!! Thank you and everyone else for the helpful information.

I already love the look of them even without the blinking light! I think it adds to the front view of the car. I'll post some pics after I get a chance to wash it (so probably this weekend).

 

....on my 2008 LS 600 hL ...Euro version.....
I got the mirrors from Taiwan months ago ...they have these numbers stamped on the inside:
W053 RH ( for the RHS of the car) and the LED lights for same side: W039R .... the LHS cover: W053 LH and on the LED light : W039L

I enclose a few picture showing the differences:

















Is there different mirrors on the 460 and the 600 ??? ...or has they sent me the wrong part numbers ????

I am having the same issue..bought mirrors that were supposed to be for 2008 460/600 and they don't fit! I believe they will fit the 2010-2012 models perfectly, but I have a set of painted oem style led mirror covers that are useless to me now. I think the manufacturer of the aftermarket style mirror covers modeled the forms from a 2010-2012 version and ASSUMED it would fit the 207-2009 mirrros...well, they were wrong. My only hope is to sell them to someone who needs a replacement front cover for their oem 2010+ mirror.

 

..have the others that have these LED mirrors installed bought them from another supplier that have ones that fit correctly ??
It seems that there are several members with 2007/08 460's that have the mirrors installed ...can anyone of You recall where You bought them ??...or the number stamped on the inside of the covers ??

for CJITTY: Just gone through threads here regarding the LED covers...and it seems that only 460 owners has got them installed .. so there seem that the 2008 LS600 and the 2007/8 LS460's have differrent covers ..if not the whole mirrors..... my German workshop told me that the LS600 and 460 had different sparepart numbers on the mirror covers.....?????

If one were so bold they could get a 2nd set of oem 600 mirror skins.. then cut the aftermarket opening and mounts out an mold them into the oem skin... if one were so inclined.... I'm just sayin...

I'm pretty sure US spec 2008 460 and 600 have same mirrors..I could be wrong. I considered a custom mold mod but I was quoted about $200 in addition to the $200 I already spent. I'm still irritated I bought them and didn't test fit..broke my own rule

 

CJITTY - did you get the ones Roadfrog linked to (the ebay ones that say they're for the LS460 & LS600)?

And are there LS600 owners that has installed these mirror covers and got them to fit ...I would like to know :-)
and if so...
Do anyone of You fancy to take them off to get at the stamped number on the inside of the mirror covers ????

Just to show we in Europe, USA and Australia define RHD or LHD cars......RHD (Right Hand Drive is with the steering wheel on the Right Hand Side of the car...for cars driving on the LEFT side of the road....like in the UK... and LHD (Left Hand Drive is with the steering wheel on the Left Hand Side of the car...for cars driving on RIGHT side of the road ...like most of Europe. AND the USA.......
So If You have sold 10 sets to the USA with the same cover numbers as mine...W053 LH and W053 RH ...these should also fit mine.... if there are LS600 owners in the USA that have got them to fit on the 2008 LS600 ?? as I wrote earlier to You ..I have only heard from another LS600 owner in the USA..and he has also not get the covers to fit....

Steering wheel on the left hand side of the car ...driving the car on the right hand side of the road.... THAT IS commonly known over the whole world as a LHD vehicle !!!!

If You are 100 % certain that the CH052 mirror cover will fit my car ...could You then send them to me ????? AND will the LED lights I have got from You also fit on the CH052 covers ??? ....then I will only need the CH052 covers ....is that correct ??

Have I been wrong in all my motor interrested years that a car driven in UK is a RHD vehicle and we ...the normal people....drive a LHD vehicle ??

It seems they're still confused. They are claiming your car is a right hand drive car but they have the correct list of countries with RHD (steering wheel on the right as you sit in the front seat facing forward). Yours (and I'd expect all US ones - although maybe someone has an RHD in the US they brought in) is definitely LHD. But they're saying the CH052 covers which they say are for RHD cars is the right one to use.
