Thanks
I decided to go without DRL's, as it appears more "factory". Also, I already have "Audi style" LED DRL's in my lower bumper vents and I don't want to over-do it.

When I do my bulb upgrades I'll hook it directly to the headlight harness and see how it reacts

Thanks guys. I just ordered a pair, and I'm trying to gather feedback, but it doesn't appear that many on here have completed this mod yet. I personally think it makes the car look more modern. I've seen some cars that use these at DRLs and I like how it switches to amber when turning, and then back to white. Roadfrog, I can certainly understand you by not wanting to overdo it. Dirteeboy, can you please keep us posted when you do the install.

Thanks.

I paid 100 bucks here in Canada. Shop around, because I found a wide variance in pricing.

Hello guys, I received my LED side mirror covers today and I'm going to try to install them this weekend. Is there any new information regarding the install procedures or newer tips?

Thanks

Not that I'm aware of. If you follow my DIY, you should be fine. Feel free to post any questions here if you need. I'm on CL a lot.

Keep the wire connectors in the mirror housing just in case you need to change out the light. The first side I did the connectors are in the door panel, so I need to take apart the panels to change out the light. It'll be easier to just pop the mirror glass out and unscrew the mirror housing.

When running the wires from the door into the body, there's a large green connecter right behind the kick panel, look for the large hole in the connecter stick a metal hanger through there, tape the wires and pull into the body. It's a lot easier then fishing into the body from the door.

Roadfrog directions were spot on, gl with the install

These look fantastic!
I love these!
They appear to be the same brand everyone else is using, are they and did you DIY or have someone do it?
If DIY, how long was your the install process?
They look great on your car!

Really considering this mod, just have to get a paint shop lined up.

Call around to a few collision repair shops for prices. Just got mine painted for $50. One place wanted $486!
