door key opener button.

When I press my key button it doesn't lock or unlock my doors. I put a new battery in and still nothing. Any ideas from anyone. Adam

When you press the door lock/unlock button on the driver door, does it actuate the locks? Do you have another remote to test out?

The car door locks work fine Its just the key button does not lock or unlock doors.

There might be something wrong w/ your key.

There's also the chance that the replacement battery was on the shelf too long and dead. Check the batteries with a voltmeter, or buy another battery from a different store.

Also make sure you're not just tapping the button, but hold it down for a second or two...

huh, i had the same problem, except it was becuz of weather change. the last time i went to vegas, i had to really make the key touch the car before the remote would work!
