I could have titled this thread, I just drove the RCF, and oh do I want that engine.

I was lucky enough to get an invite to a Lexus marketing event in my area that allowed me a little track time in the new RCF (not be confused with the RC - F Sport). Loved, loved, loved the car. I knew the specs on the car were pretty "extreme" but I truthfully thought that it would be more "Lexus" than performance...and I don't mean that in a bad way. I was presently surprise that the car had the edge it did...sounded right, and just flat out moved. It was very easy to drive very quickly.

However, since I'm not really a two door guy at the moment (might not ever be), I don't see me writing the check for the RCF. That said, if Lexus were to drop the RCF engine, into an LS (short wheel base, AWD) I would be the first in line.

LEXUS, PLEASE PUT THE RCF ENGINE INTO AN LS, AND CALL IT AN LSF!!!

 

well if you wait till next year you probably see the gsf with similar engine but 4 doors
