I was wondering if my 2007 LS460L forward collision system bring the car to a complete stop like the 2015 Hyundai genesis??? I seen the genesis commercial and made me think if my car would do the same thing if a car in front of me was to suddenly slam on the breaks catching me off guard (or me simply not paying attention to the road ahead). I was searching this forum and around the internet but couldn't really get a clear answer.

 

No. The 07 LS 460 L will not come to a complete stop.

 

What exactly would it do then???

 

Once the car goes below 25 mph, there will be an audible and visual alert that that the system has been disabled. By that time and by that speed any driver should have already assumed control of the vehicle.
