This YouTube video on the Pre Collision System ( ) talks about the "advanced" pre collision system. Is there a difference between the "advanced" pre collision system and the pre collision system? Or, are they just saying the PCS is advanced, (there is only one PCS, not a PCS and an APCS)?

I could be wrong but I think the "earlier" version of PCS that is present on the GS up through 2014/15 can't bring the car to a complete stop, but "APCS" can. I have no direct references for this; this is completely out of memory from what I remember reading over the past couple of years, and I could be wrong.

It also can't bring the car to a complete stop when using the DRCC function, because DRCC turns off if speed falls below 25mph on older GSes. Newer models can do this though apparently.

 

It worked both times when I was wearing sunglasses and normal glasses. Best feature ever! Easily saved me $7k for both occasions.

 

should be mandatory for all women. now that smart phones are here woman drivers are ten times more deadly.
