Yet another warranty pricing thread - 2007 46k miles
Just called my local Lexus dealer and asked about a warranty (Car is a 2007 purchased last month from a Mercedes dealer; 46k miles.
Lexus of Easton (Ohio).
Was told I could get a Lexus Platinum warranty; pricing is:
1/12 = 1875
2/24 = 2375
3/36 = 2975
4/50 = 3750
5/60 = 4475
This seems a tad expensive to me - he said the pricing was "set by Lexus".
Thoughts?

Calling all the nearby Lexus dealers for the Platinum warranty - man the prices vary widely:

I paid $2800 plus tax for my 3/36 platinum warranty with zero deductible. It was on a privately purchased 2007 with 64000 miles. $2115 seems like a heck of a deal; was this with a zero deductible?
