Default Just installed DVD/TV bypass without removing Navigation Unit

I've just installed the DVD Bypass harness without removing the Navigation unit. You can apply this method to the Navi/DVD too if you wish. Below is some images I took while doing the install. The harness I got has no switch like beatsonic harness. Press DISC to watch DVD while driving, press again back to factory setting. Just plug and play.

How?

There is no special trick. All you have to do is tuck your hand under the navi unit and unplug the harness on your left side where I drew rectangle in the image that I just uploaded.

Yeah I'd like to know as well. I'm currently using the PS, (with the switch dongle thing mounted somewhere).

Hey if you sell your LS can I have those buttons that say comfort/sport, I have some blank ones on mine, lol, just kidding. I'm too scared to install the bypass, my record isn't too good with electronics after I replaced my kids ipad screen, I put a hole in the battery accidentally poked it open with screwdriver, now battery gets real hot, then loses charge, I'm not touching anything electronic anymore lol.

I have the PS bypass and i had to remove my whole navi/radio to do the install ( and trust me removing the two screws that hold the unit in place is HELL to keep from dropping deeper into the console).Im really curious on how this is done please give more info/pic detailing your install this would be a great help to other members for future installs. thanks

Well despite being the worst how to ever, it I can at least see he has the radio out. So maybe he was able to pull down the cable? No idea.

We need some more detailed instructions....Come on, lets go...Inquiring minds want to know.

If I'm reading this correctly, you are saying there was no "bypass harness" or module involved? You just simply unplug that harness in the rectangle and that's it?

You need a bypass harness. This method is faster and you don't have to remove the Navi unit to install dvd/naivi bypass harness.

Can you please share the link where you purchased the exact bypass harness you used for this DIY?

Sorry I don't have the link and there is no label on the harness. I actualully pick this harness while in JP. It cost me 14,946 JPY.
