Default 2007 LS SWB - No auxiliary port?

First post here. Just picked up an 07 with ML and no navigation. Assumed there was an AUX port in the console based on all my research. Upon checking, all I have is a 12v port. Mea culpa. Searching the forum and net yielded no results. Am I the only one with this problem?

Guess I'll have to spring for a Vais SL3B - commuting without my podcasts in Hawaii traffic would suck (First World Problems).

This is strange, never saw this before. U can pop this black plastic plate carrying the 12-volts plug out and look behind to see if the Aux connection is there. The previous owner might have replaced it with the wrong plate

Damned fine idea. Why didn't I think of that.

I highly doubt the previous owner changed it, though - it was a one-owner, corporate car (as of today, it only has 29k miles).

Might also be a tech slacking grabbing the wrong plate for the wrong car

you are not alone! i got a pre-owned 07 SWB with ML/no NAV and from hawaii. i drove home expecting to find the aux port. then when i opened up the glove box...no port! i was so sad.

i went to revision audio and they don't have a module to help me (now us) out. i went on ebay and found this:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/360350866596...84.m1423.l2649

i was going to go back to revision audio to see if this is something that would work but haven't had time off to go during their business hours.

if you find a solution or find that aux port under the plate, let me know.

oh, and welcome to the club. see you in the bad oahu traffic...

I'm away on vacation so I don't have access to check my car, but I believe there is an auxiliary port inside the front of the center console. I do have the ML and nav, but assume that port would be in all cars.

I have a LWB with ML and no Nav. I do have an aux port but I have RCA jacks instead of 3.5mm.

This is good to know! Misery loves company. I've done some limited reading about the Vaistech SL3B, and it sounds promising. I'll probably just order it up and install it. In the end, I'd rather not have to deal with wires anyway.

I'll still check to see what lurks behind the 12v plate and report back...

Thanks. This seems to contradict Neph's post above, as he/she has an 07...

I have an 07 with an Aux port, but I also have Nav. I didn't know you could get ML without Nav.

I know someone with a 2007 LWB with ML and no navigation - he also has an aux port.

Maybe the factory was working on my center console around 4:20, on a Friday, before a 3-day weekend?

If your CD changer has just DISK (and not DISK-AUX) on the 3rd source select button under the CD loading slot, then you don't have an aux input. I believe all ML audio systems have this but was surprised to see no AUX select button on the standard systems on e-bay.
