Default 2011 Front Mod Question

Hello,

I am a new member here, just purchased a 2011 LS460L, Obsidian with Parchment interior. I like the looks of the car but wondered if it is possible to have an F-Sport front end fitted to a 2011. From what I can gather, the F-Sport series was introduced in 2013? My initial thoughts are that there has got to be a hang up somewhere that would stop this from being possible. I have looked at kits but from what I have found the kits are either too subtle for me or too extreme.

The only hangup is money. The front end is a direct swap from what I understand. You'll need the front bumper, headlights, front fenders and hood. You'll also need the fender liners and all associated bolts, clips, and supports.
A couple shops in japan have already done the conversion.
I'm with you on some front bumpers are to subtle or extreme. I really like how aimgain has incorporated the new Lexus hourglass front grille into their front bumpers for the scion and Toyota Prius. Wish they would do the same for the 2007-09 or 2009-2012 LS460's

or for a more simple mod, just put in the "sport" grill with the black wire mesh, as opposed to doing the full "f-sport" mod. . .

btw, where are you and is150 in ohio?

I'm really a big fan of the whole front end look of the new LS460, the somewhat hour glass figure, the new style was just a tad out of the budget unfortunately.

I'm in the Toledo area.

Just wanted to add that I've looked into having a 2014 F-sport front bumper molded to a 2007 like some of the IS350 guys, but I'm hesitant to drop the money and not know for sure how well it'll look.

Am I just not looking in the right locations online for body kits? It seems there's minimal out there with regards to body kits for the LWB.

If you find a kit that you like you could always have the side skirts extended.
Here is a place to see what is available http://autostyle-usa.com I wouldn't necessarily order from there though. There is also the official 4LS modification thread here in this forum.

It's been done. Saw it online somewhere. Looks pretty clean.

Turned out nice. I found the lowered pic of that car on cvtdesigns Instagram account. Need to email them and see if they'll produce it for us.

Being a newbie, I guess I didn't realize that most decent kits start around $3k and go up from there. Any idea what it would cost to have something like that done? It really does look nice from the pic posted!

Looks nice....I wonder how much it would cost.

Doing a full update includes fenders, hood, bumper, upper grill, lower grill, headlights....so this may be a nice alternative. Plus, you can use a lip kit for the newer LS.

I think a guy in the ISx50 forum did it for $2500. That's what I was quoted also by a buddy of mine who does custom bodywork. Considering an aimgain,k-break, etc front bumper is about $1800-$2000 shipped it's not a bad price.
