Brake Acutator?
From everything I've seen, there is no safety issue and it's just an annoyance. Apparently the issue is a clicking noise from the actuator that's very noticeable. Good news is you can get a unit on Ebay for about 700 dollars, and it's an easy DIY. Don't lose any sleep over it.

not sure where that info came from, but the only fix is to replace with an LS600 actuator unit which is $2,000 new. and there's not many LS600s in junk yards, lol, so good luck finding a used on on ebay. second, it is NOT an easy DIY. in fact, its a nightmare and has to be done through Toyota/Lexus TechStream to be done properly. very tricky to bleed properly.

And as far as bleeding goes, there are several members (and one moderator) who have bled the brakes and others who installed Brembos who say that, if you disconnect the neg batt terminal before bleeding and then reconnect after bleeding, the error codes do not register. You do NOT need Techstream. And the actutator is an easy bolt off, bolt on, with several lines attached to it on the passenger side engine compartment. Easy access to it too.

Part numbers are updated continually, usually its the same part. I'd be more concerned buying a used braking system part, not knowing its history (ie was it swapped out for a new one because of the same clicking noise, was there a problem with it that was just passed on to a recycler)?
There's five of them on Ebay right now and as I said in my previous thread, 600-900 dollars. I don't just randomly make isht up. LOL

yeah but it still makes some noises, especially when backing up and braking...clunking sound..not loud..have to have windows down to hear it
this is not a complicated subject.
