Default Is the LS460 a bit too flashy...

Was doing some random car shopping yesterday and stepped into a 2007 GS300 - maybe it's just me, but after spending lots of time looking at the LS460s and driving a few, I almost found myself thinking that the LS was too flashy for the conservatively styled GS, specifically the interior. Apart from the cluster, the GS seemed to be rather conservative - normally, it's the other way around, where the "lower" models are styled a bit flashy and the higher are more conservative in design.

I've got an IS250 and if I compare interior styling to the GS and LS, I'd rate the IS as a shrunken LS. The GS is still a lovely car - however, for me, it does not fit between the LS and IS somehow...

the LS is not to flashy... unless you modify it with, air, 22's, bodykit etc. even though i know an LS from a distance when i see one. it does stand out despite people who say it has no road presence etc. if you're a car enthusiast, you can pick an LS out of the bunch without blinking an eye. but i don't think it's to flashy.

Don't get me wrong - nothing wrong with the GS. Maybe the correct term is more "presence" and not "flashy"

I don't think the designers had "flashy" in mind when they created the LS. The vehicle flows beautifully both inside and out. It gets you and your passengers to your destination safely and comfortably.

Honestly, if you think the LS is too flashy, maybe Camrys are a right fit.

Gotcha, I added tinted widows and chrome wheels to give it more presence. Great car!

My previous Jag came that way.

You took the wheels off the Jag and put them on the LS?

Same offsets?

I'm sorry but after owning a 06 gs300 I didn't think it was a nice car. The interior is boring, seats was uncomfortable and it ride no different compare to a IS

Both cars have their OEM wheels on, they look similar and I can see how one could confuse the two.

Even though they may be oem specific, those wheels look exactly alike.
