Can't deal with the wheel gap. any advice? coil overs vs air? i'll go searching through the forums now but if anybody has good advice, my ears are open... thanks again
I got 265/30 and 295/25, the ride is pretty smooth. What will make it more rough will be your suspension imo.

If you're not on a budget, then air for sure. But a AirRunner + Accuair setup is going to set you back like 6-7 grand while coilovers will only set you back 1000 maybe.

OK, i've been searching like crazy but people just put mods.... there's no real review about how much more air suspension is leaps and beyond coilovers. Like everyone else, i'd like to go the cheaper route. I'm only asking if the cost of the coilover set offsets the air... I thought that this was a forum to ask questions... not everyone bash a dude for not reading every known thread on these forums... even though we all know that air is the "better" route. I just want to know why. I've gone through the whole Mods thread and there is no extent write up on the pros over the cons of Coilovers. I get it, some members know more than others but why **** on a dude that is only asking honest questions? I guess i'll jus spectate instead of asking friendly questions

I'm just calling it as i see it. I know you're a big boy so put on your big boy pants. Don't get butt hurt over people's comments that, if you ask me, aren't even "*****ting" on you. Don't be hurt by it. I'm pretty sure you know the pro's and con's with coils vs air. Here I'll throw you a bone. coil over's will ride consistant but you'll have to adjust the height and dampening a bunch of times until you get it just right...just to end of realizing that you do not have any factory camber adjustment. The only one's out there are into the 10k range for a set of adjustable arms. Any little bit of lowering will set the camber into negative and cause tire wear. If you go 22s which i believe you are you'll be riding on low profiles which will put more stress on the inner tire thread compared to a tire with more meat. I've gone through about a set of tires a year. With air you'll be out of pocket a minimum of 5k parts and labor. So that's already more than double it costs for coils. But you'll have the freedom of adjusting the height on the fly. Dampening is most of the time adjustable so that will have to be messed with. The beauty about having air with a leveling system is you can set it to clost to factory height for commutes or long drives. This is the height you'll have your car aligned at. You'll also have the freedom of hitting a buttom and dropping the car and drive it as low or high as your setup will allow. Oh also with an air setup you'll have to find space for the tank and compressor. some find enough space in the trunk/cargo area. I took out my spare and put it all in there so i still have a functioning trunk. Now if you do that you better have road side service. Hope this helps you in some way....

Here is the issue. I just typed in "air suspension" on the "search this forum" option and got tons of threads with endless info. There is a consistent pattern of new folks that come on here and put in ZERO work to research the many threads people have taken the time to write up..to help folks like you and just want answers..meanwhile the forum gets cluttered with numerous repetitive threads asking the same questions over and over. You have to know that a $7k+ setup is going to be better than a $1k coil setup. lbintab laid it out pretty good. Here is a tip I give all newbs about searches. If you use google and type in this format "TOPIC OF INTEREST" "LS460" "clublexus.com" and you will be reading tons of posts in no time. Don't get upset..we just try to avoid typing the same responses over and over abd over when the info is already there.

Here is an example on what I found within 10 secs of searching https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...527&styleid=13
