Default No waxing for 6 years after Matrix Micro Coating

My car is green (Verdigris Mica) - Had my detail shop apply Matrix Micro Coating 6 years ago. I have never waxed or polished my car again since. Just washed at the car wash.

No wax, nothing. Granted it has low miles (37K) and I wash it at an excellent local tunnel car wash.

The Matrix product (professional line) is recommended for new cars. Used cars I think it's ok but there is a lot more prep work in order to do it right.

BTW these are the local guys who applied it for me -

They don't have a very good website to explain application procedures, or how much to purchase for one car or what the kit includes.

Hopefully this helps.

A local dealer uses this product on his personal cars and has not waxed, or polished in 3 years. It will last for 5/6 years without any car wash BUT in mid west the salt gets to it and reduces coating life to 3 years

It was a 4-step process, took 2 days, car had to bake under infra-red lights. At the time it was $800. Today, probably $1,000.

dayum 800 is a pretty price to pay though. thats so much money in mods. I rather just suck it up and and wash ti weekly/biweekly and blow the 800 on mods (then again my cars old!)
