Reverse the connecters? I had to do that for my fogs even though they fit perfectly . Really odd. Lol

i found out that i have bad decoders! i had a set of decoders from jdm toy laying around, so i tried them but they are huge and wont fit in the housing, but they do work now! so vled decoders are bad! or either the wrong ones, even when i took out the vled kit and powered it with a 12v battery they worked, but when installed in the car fitted perfect or reversed the connector, it would not work!. so my only guess is the decoders are bad for my car. thanks for the help! i ended up just using the vled bulbs and the jdm decoders and it works perfect, even flashing the high beams is no problem for the jdm decoders, i remember with my IS i could not flash the high beam or the fuse would blow. no i have no covers over the back of the high beam housings, untill vled sends a new set. wtf?

Can you post pics of everything? What happens when you flash the high beams?

This may be a stupid question. What happens with your high beams when you replace it with the DRL?

Depends on the strength and numbers of SMD's that you have on the bulb.
My IS250 has 102SMD's and still actually function decent as high beams, but not like a normal halogen bulb high beam.
Only difference though might be that the LS460 is a project housing while the IS250 isnt so not sure how that will affect light output.
Knowing this I will probably order the same kit I used on my IS 250 for my father's LS460 now has well. Just will see how will it works but its not too much money lost at all.
