The side passenger mirror on my 2008 Lexus LS460 will not unfold once the car has been in Park. The mirror still tilts but I must get out of the car and walk around to "unfold" or straighten side view mirror when I put it in Drive. Any suggestions?

 

Until you can get it checked out, put the mirror directional indicator in the middle postion and you will not have to get out and manually unfold. Personally, I never use the folding mode as most mirrors have plastic gears that break and the lubricant for the gears dries out and just causes unnecessary headaches. I have used it on occassion when I am forced to park in a tight spot where people will be walking between the vehicles. If you are one who uses automatic car washes (which I never do) I would fold them when going through the carwash.
