Default Intermittent AC

Lexus LS460 2008.
My AC compressor cuts off at low speed if i accelerate or turn it off and then on it comes back.
It never happens at highway speed only in town could it be relay problem? where is the AC compressor relay located? Any suggestions thanks in advance.

are you sure you're not overheating? has the a/c system been worked on or the car wrecked. it sounds like the a/c system is overcharged.

Do you have it on "Auto"?
It will cycle on and off when trying to keep a constant temp as indicated on the digi readout.

thanks it was a salvage and car front end was repaired but problem started 6 months after the car was repaired. The temperature gauge does not show any obvious overheating,Do you mean more gas than whats needed?

yes, more refrigerant than needed will create too high pressure under certain conditions and the compressor will turn off until the pressure comes down
