I have a 2012 LS460L that I have owned for less than 1 year and I have the same problem with my iPhone 4s with the speed dial and contacts beign wiped out...about 8 times so far. It always happens when I am in my car with the phone off and then turn it on while the car is on.. Supposedly the new iOS6 will solve the problem, but I am very skeptical!! The dealer says Lexus is aware of the problen but does not have a solution. Has anyone tried using iOS6 to try to solve the problem?? Thanks.

You have the identical problem I wrote about in the original post. I have since upgraded my 4S to IOS 6 and used it for a couple of weeks before replacing my phone with an I-phone 5 that I've only had for a few days. I will have to use the new I-phone for a few months without having the dropped contacts/speed dials before I have a feel for whether or not the problem is solved. It used to happen to me about once per month. The problem got so annoying that the last time I didnt't enter the speed dial numbers because that is so time consuming that I didn't want to do it and have them dropped. Transferring the contacts only takes a couple of minutes so that isn't as much of a hassle.
