Hi-

I have a week-old HS, and so far I LOVE it, with one exception-

I am having trouble with the bluetooth hands-free connection to my iPhone (a 3gs, if that matters).

I can go through the setup, and get it to connect just fine- but when the car gets turned off, it simply will not reconnect, and I have to go through the whole process again.

I don't have this problem with my other vehicle (a town & country), so I don't think that it is necessarily a phone problem.

Any ideas? does anyone else have this problem?

Thanks...

Do you have to go through re-pairing each time or just selecting the phone connect button?

It sounds like a phone issue. Check the phone for "device options". It may have an option to auto connect that needs to be enabled. Not sure why it works in one car and not the other. Stop by the dealer and have someone pair their phone and see if does the same thing.

Jamie, that is really odd. I have an iPhone too and just leave Bluetooth turned on on it and on the car. I get in and out of the car often with the phone in my pocket and just get in, start the car and they hook right up to one another.

I'm amazed sometimes the phone will be in the house and the car in the garage and they will still hook up.

I have three phones programmed into the car, my personal, my work and my wife's. The only time I need to interact with the car is when I switch phones, otherwise it is seamless.

Is there another phone you could try to see if the problem occurs with it too? How well does it work as a Bluetooth music source?

Otherwise, I might check with your service representative and see if there is a service bulletin addressing the issue.

I have a 450h and got an 250h for a loaner the other day. Fun car to drive, hope you enjoy yours and good luck with this problem.

This is exactly my experience with the iPhone.

Try restarting the phone and maybe resetting network settings.
