It's been discussed before on here. There's actually a thread about it.

Not sure if you mean an add on DRL or changing the stock DRLs to LED. I thougth about it and probably will end up getting the stock DRL LED set up but from what Ive gathered so far, the voltage is cut to the high beam light in turn making it the DRL. When theyre switched to LED, there's some sort of decoder that helps the LED not flicker when the voltage drops.
The ones discussed in that thread posted are add ons which connect directly to a 12v source and are turned on and off via remote.

I ran these on my 430 & I plan on running them on the 460.I just didn't get around to doing it yet..
They're really good with a nice white output that's really clear in the daytime & when you run them at night with just the fogs it looks sexy.. plus they come with the decoder so no issues. if you cop from these guys the code is gojdm it'll save you some cash..

Sorry to be a little of topic here, but just to clarify, the stock DRL's are not the same bulb as the high-beams correct? So if you were to install the bulbs that bonafyd mentioned with that relay thingy you can still use your high-beams? Iv'e read sometime ago about people doing this and not having their high-beams anymore. Sorry if it's something simple I just confused myself about it

All the info for the add on LED DRL is in this thread.

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls4...al-thread.html

If you are looking to replace your stock DRL's the kit that Bonafyd posted will work along with V-LED's DRL kit.

Ok well I have that kit from ijdmtoy and it was taken off my gs350. I tried switching it over to my 460, which works, but you will not be able to put the dust cover(light cover) back on because of the decoder... It will not fit back in. And I don't recommend leaving it off as moisture will get in your lights. But if u dont care.. Then yes they work and it looks great.

You could drill into the dust cover to slip the wire through & eiter tape or silicone the cover up to keep moisture out..

The links says "This 9005 LED bulb will directly replace the stock 55W 9005 (aka HB3) halogen bulb on the high beam function". Do they actually replace the halogen bulbs or just the use of the 30% high-beam for the DRL? If the actual bulb is replaced for high-beam use I have been told that doing so will result in a loss of brightness which I would not want to do, despite a preference for the LED "look".

As I said in the other thread where you posted this question, all LS460’s have DRL.
