Default Coilover Dampening Rear Adjustment

Guys and Gents,

I want to get to the dampening controls on my rear coilover struts and have not a clue how do it. Has anyone out there done this on their own and can provide instructions on how do to do this?

Does the back seat have to come out?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

After just pulling out my rear seats to do this exact same thing I can tell you that it does NOT have to be done. Depending on the options you have all you have to do is move the rear seats forward and me the top of them toward the front of the car. Then undo the leather flap connected to the deck lid and then pry up the deck lid. You will probably have a cover on top of the coilover adjustments so after you remove that with the 3 nuts attached you will be able to access them.

I don't have power rear seats. The options each LS460 has car has makes getting to the strut allot different from the next. I'm still trying to locate that tab David is talking about. Ughhhhhh

I am on the boat as you bud. No power seats FTL

But a question, for those that have the extensions for the BC where is it poking out of? On my friends G37 he has them poking out of the wheel wells in the trunk...

LOL true that man... but we can dream can't we

BTW has anyone tried out or heard about these new (maybe just new to me not sure) Megan coilovers that are supposedly a step up from the previous ones? They seem to have the same spring rates but now have 32 way adjust-ability...http://www.meganracing.com/products/...id=33&catid=30

You have megan's right Frank?
