ok... since there's another thread asking about the puddles lights in the bottom of the side mirrors, i decided to make a quick DIY on this... specially since i had some LED's lying around. i completely forgot to take pics of the actually LED's i used...
anyway... so i moved both mirrors so they're facing all the way up... top all the way back and bottom all the way out... then i used my hands...no tools... to pry the corners closest to the doors...
after you take out the 4 screws, the 2 housings will peel away from each other...
there's 3 tabs... one on the bottom and two on the sides closest to the car...then you'll see this:
take out the bulb from the housing and replace:
here's the units i replaced those with... (got them off amazon and the title was: 194 168 T10 Wedege SMD High Power LED HYPER WHITE BULBS Dome Lights 12V)
i also did a rear seat removal vid for our cars... a bunch of us have the reclining seats so they're not as easy to remove as the regular ones so i decided to make a vid of how to remove them. i'll post them here for reference if anyone needs this info...
great videos!! thanks for taking the time to do that. So on the seat back removal, it was hard to tell in the video, but are the strut tower bolts visible at that point or are there more steps required to get to those? Looks like my Tanabe spring install wont be so hard after all..the back seats were my biggest concern
Thanks for posting the videos. That was really cool of you. You just keep making me want to drop my car. Your car is gorgeous
thanks...haha...

after you take the seat off there's a few tabs to pop off...
then you'll see the towers under the rear dash...
too bad i forgot to take pics... but it's very straight forward after taking the seats off...
