Default Hids

Hey Lexus enthusiast im new to the family. I recently purchased a 08 LS 460 SWB Black on Black. I want to put HIDS on the fogs, Is it ok to install them w/out getting a code on the dashboard like BMW and Benz or is it safe? Greatly appreciate your input guys! :-)

I don't think our cars throw a code when adding HID fogs. Some of the others that have done this can chime in https://www.clublexus.com/forums/5883474-post1.html

Are after-market HIDs street-legal? Will these lights pass state safety inspection? I'm interested in installing as well.

What about interference on your radio, or the like? Any of that?

LOVE my HID fogs! We have had four days of thick fog here 3000K temp have been very helpful besides looking cool!

Here is a two shots (2nd pic HDR exposure) I took of the beam pattern of my HID fogs.
