I wanted to get your opinion.

I have always loved the new LS460 and finally am going to buy one.

I currently have a 2000 GS300 that I want to trade in and before I have had a 93 SC400.

They are giving me about $5k on my GS with 120k.

The car I am looking at is a 2008 LS460 with 41k for $34,200. Has all options except ML, the auto cruise control, and auto park.
They are charging me $3000 for the CPO at Lexus and a $995 dealer fee.
The car is in great shape except the car was in a minor rear door accident.
I checked the cars paint and the only thing was painted was the rear qtr panel near the door.
The valve springs have been serviced already.

What do you guys think? Is this a good deal?

Anything I should look for in the car or watch out for?

 

As far as the price of the car, it seems about right, but I would check pricing on Kelley, NADA and Edmunds to be sure.

At a total of $3995 for the CPO, which I think goes out to 6 years and 100,000 miles, it is over priced. Here are some excerpts from posts on this forum about extended warranty pricing (I bought through Toby Rivers last summer) -

I called greenville toyota today and talked to Troy. He quoted me a price of 2100 for a 7/100 extended warranty. I can not believe it. I had the 1st quote of 3850 from a dealer in Houston for the same warranty. I will definately use greenville Toyota for my extended warranty. Thanks Davedan for your help. I owe you.

Just purchased a 7/100 extended warranty from Jerry Johnson at Midwest toyota for $2040.
