Sound System upgrade
I have an LS600hL and i was wondering if any1 has adding aftermarket subs? I want to add either 2 10's or a nice 12 in the back (the trunk is so tiny...).
Im just not sure how difficult how it would be as first: its a hybrid would the constant draw on the electrical be bad? Is it even possible to install? Secondly I know they have to grab the signal from factory sub in the rear deck and I know getting to there is a pain. Does any1 know any good installers in Norcal?

as far as space try some shallow mount pioneer subs.. they work REALLY well in tiny enclosures.. power consumption wont be bad if u get a class d amp..an take it easy on the volume ****..

Not sure whats behind the seat of the 600 but I was finally able to access the truck of my 460 from the inside but removing the rear seat. Ran the power wire and used a Audiocontrol LC2 to grab the signal from the factory sub output and turn it from hi to low. The install isnt complete yet due to lack of time in my schedule but Im about 80% done. I'll be running a Kicker comp 12 with a zx750.1 amp.

Well as far as sound equipment I had a great setup in my LX 470 but i know the LS600 has a lot more firewalls and such to get around. 305Busa you should do a build thread when you do it might be the info and pics i need to jump start my system

This is a thread for the premium (standard) system, NON ML, but the concepts are the same. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls4...e-premium.html
I actually got my LS460 with the standard system to take out and rebuild with a premium aftermarket system. It may give you a few ideas if you have not read it before.

Since its still in the building process, I'll take some pics of the routes I took when I get back on it. I also ran a volume control for the LOC to the center console and its where the rear side shade button goes on the other LSs. My LS doesnt have rear side shades so there's a empty spot there.
