Default making system louder

i have heard some stuff about removing a metal plate behind the back seat?can anyone tell me how this is done? i have heard it will make your subs much louder. pics and stuff would be great because i dont even know how to remove the back seat. any other simple things to make your subs louder, to get more sound from the trunk in? thanks

remove your factory sub, relocate the rear speakers to somewhere out of the rear deck. these will allow more air from the trunk into the cabin of the car.

just get a bigger sub

It doesn't make your sub "louder", it just vents more sound into the cabin of the car.

The seats come out very easily.
The search function works very easily also!

Even better is that we have this new fangled thing here called a sticky. And this sticky just happens to be right at the top of the forum you posted this in!

Then, as 88supra said, you should have removed your stock sub. This will also help to port sound from the trunk to the cabin.
