Hey - I have an 08 LS460 with 7.1 nav version. I was driving my sis-in-law's Cadillac SRX and the XM radio interface is so much nicer. It lists all the types (rock, jazz, hip hop/rb, news/talk, sports etc.) on one screen and when you select a type it shows all the channels on one screen and what is playing on each one so you can see it all on one screen. If you are listening to a game, it even shows the running score of the game on the nav screen.

On my 7.1 I have to scroll thru the types one at a time by pressing type--> or <--type and then scroll thru each channel one at a time for each type using type seek or type scan. It sucks big time compared to the Cadillac interface.

My question is is the XM radio interface any different between 7.1 and 10.1? Or is it just the maps and nav that is different?

no, i don't think the interface changed

 

XM didnt change, although the screen interface is much nicer on 10 than ver 6, I cant speak to 7 as I upgraded from 6 to 10.
