Honestly as long as you change the fluid and the filter at a regular interval the brand and weight is not that big of a deal... 0-20 or 5-30 etc.. its all within range, and even if you run conventional there is a great chance this motor will outlive your ownership of it.
So true............ that is why i just buy whatever synthetic oil is on sale. By switching to synthetic oil over regular oil, any major brands synthetic oil will do. Even on my high boost, high reving, and high temperature in my Supra, any synthetic oil will do, but then again i changed oil between 1k to 2K mi. depend on driving condition.
btw, just pick up 5qt. gallon PENNZOIL PLATINUM SYNTHETIC OIL with $3 instance off.......... final price $21.50 + tax at Walmarts. This deal is good till 7/31/11
