Its ok but not a daily driver Im guessing. That trunk is a no no.

 

the trunk is the only part of the car i actually like.

 

Sad to say this mate, but the red color combo and the grill makes the car look less classier imho. I mean, the trunk setup is quite clean, but the color combination just made this high class car look like a typical imports build.

 

Not my cup of tea. I'll be keeping my money on this one thank you...

i give it a solid meh... too flashy.... they were trying to copy the IS-F's sport seats with the red parts and isk wtf they did to the inside trim...maybe white CF wrap im guessing?? haha and ya grill is def a no no... and some may think that this car may need a little bit of sprotyness added to the mix but that NOT what this car is made for IMHO...

 

I forgot to add, you have to be mindful when posting pics of modded LS's on this site. Most people here are not going to appreciate a modded LS. Just look at the responses you're getting for this post, plus look at other posts and you'll see that most will not have any appreciation for that, unless you fall into that category as well, but that would mean you only posted the pics because you'd knew how most here would respond. To that point, look at posts that show wheels added, most here question a 22 inch wheel being a good size for the LS, when in fact, it probably looks the best for this size car. IMHO, most will only like the standard factory LS, BOOORING! Don't get me wrong, I love my LS, it's beautiful but it can be so much more. Maybe it's an age thing, I don't know, but I've often wondered why people here are so quick to denounce customized cars. I'm sure this post will get the juices flowing, but I've been monitoring this site for awhile, and this is what I've come to find from people on this site. Let the games begin! P.S., please stop posting the "Hey buddies, look at my new used LS pictures". Enough already, newsflash, I think we all start out with the same factory Lexus LS460.

 

I like it, I for one would like to see more modded LS'.

you must be quite good on generalization. quite a few people who replied in this thread including me modify our cars, some pretty extensively. i don't think any of us would say stock LS is anything "exciting". but at the same time, imho, that doesn't mean throwing anything randomly at the car and it will look good. special / different / unique, yes, good that's all subjective. to me i don't think the mods come together nicely and doesn't compliment the car at all. is it different? sure it is. that's my 2 cents

 

IMO the car is too busy not CLEAN, it looks like it was on episode of pimp my ride. Again this my thoughts, I'm drawn to a well planned modded car where less can mean more. We all have our views of what looks right, I can appreciate making the car your own (I have done it) but do not have to love it. Also this is an car forum for LS460 with proud owners new & old who want to share their joy of owning a great car!

What is so wrong with people posting pics of their non modded LS?
