You running the big ones or the little ones now? I think my wife's handles crisper on her 18s than mine does on those 19s, but they're totally different cars so I don't really know.

I could consider a custom set of 24's, but they would need to be 2 or 3 piece/no low pressure cast

i chose a car with the 18s intentionally to get the best ride. Had I wanted crisper handling I would have kept the GS.

No doubt your wife's GS is crisper on the 18s than your LS on the 19s.

What do you mean? Take some pix and start a thread. If something is wrong with your thread someone will help you! You could have them balanced to check for bends; other than that: if you want them keep em'; if you don't want em' post em'. If no one shows interest after a week/go for eBay.

the rules on a "voucher" are pretty clear in the classified section and I honestly don't "personally" know anyone here nor a club Lexus member that lives near me. Wheels are fine, no bends. I'll probably start with my local Craigslist.

I mean the best ride according to me. I want the smoothest ride possible, even at some expense to handling.

BTW I've never found my LS460 on 18s (or LS430 on 17s or LS400 on 16s) to have anywhere near unsafe handling. They're no GS to be sure, but I've driven them pretty hard and they've never felt anything but confident to me.

It doesn't ride poorly on the 19s at all, but you feel the sharpness of bumps more, you hear more road noise, and the ride is a little less settled. Handling is a little crisper. If you like that setup more get that, that's why there are options.
