They did say it was not your average tint, but its not your average car either, but nothing out of the ordinary just a little bit more time and effort.

do you have air alone the defrost lines? and at night driving, the air lines are very visible when looking at the headlights from your rearview mirror?

Difference between amateur tint jobs and true professionals.

My tinter had no issues with mine or my fathers LS460. He said the LS430s are more difficult because of the thick rear defroster lines but they keep going over them and they seal up fine. The 460s don't have that issue. If you have air by the defroster lines you should get it redone for free.

My guy had it done in about 2hrs.

Popped all 4 doors panels loose to get in there. Good tint shops pop panels loose to do the job right. It's no big deal.

Default Spend the Money, Do it Right!!

When purchasing my LS, I tried to be cheap and save money for other items and wasn't happy with the end result of having it done the first time? I spent the extra funds on tint and am very happy I did! It's something you'll look at each time you drive your car and you want it to look close to perfect! I'm a firm believer in, "You get what you Pay for most of the time?"

I went with Ceramic and can tell you it looks nice! It took a few tries and several tint jobs, but I can sleep at night knowing that if anything goes wrong with it, they will replace it for free! Spend the extra and run from others when they tell you the LS460 is problematic? The front corners near the mirrors are tough to reach, but it can be done and look nice if they take thier time?

My tint job is a mess, and my tint guy did my 430 perfectly. he's had to re-do a window and there are huge gaps (like 1/8th inch) running down the edges because he couldn't get the tint back in the tight spaces.

i super annoyed and want to get the tint done like one of our members did in cali where they actually removed the glass and baked on the tint. O well!
