smog sensor
How well does your smog sensor work ?mine is set to high but i still get smog and it takes a while to change to recerculate .I owned a gs400 and the smog sensor was almost instant .Is the ls460 just slugish ?

When I got my new 460L, I had the dealer set the sensor to one notch more sensitive and it seems to work fine. I'm not sure where the sensor is but if it's exposed in any way, make sure it's clean. Hey, I just did a search and look what I found:

post is for an LS430, but its exactly the same on the LS460. a bit harder to get at, but still a 15 min job. Mine was packed with dirt (good ol LA air I guess), but having cleaned this out it is now performing exactly the way I would expect it to. I appreciate threads like this!
also to bring up the sensitivity settings, just set the nav to climate, and press and hold the Auto switch until the sensor settings come up easy to do this yourself.
